    Adjusting the slope angle

In practice, it appears that many bike stairs are very steep. Even the installation of the VeloComfort®-system does not always offer sufficient support. Depending on the available space at the bottom of the stairs, the slope of the staircase can be adjusted by adding special uprights.

For the downward direction, the level of the bike is – relative to the cyclist – gradually increased.

Conversely, when travelling upwards, the bike starts at the maximum height difference between bike and cyclist*. This difference becomes smaller as the bicycle is further guided upwards.

*) The maximum height difference is height-dependent; the smaller the person, the smaller the maximum height difference. Therefore, taking into account smaller people, we recommend a maximum height difference of 0.5m.
